Edda works as a technical assistant in the quality control laboratory, specialising in endotoxin testing. She carries out comprehensive microbiological tests to ensure the quality of products, raw materials and primary packaging in accordance with GMP guidelines.
Her core responsibilities include the performance and careful documentation of routine endotoxin tests for bio-pharmaceutical and chemical-pharmaceutical products. She tests both bulk goods before filling and samples from finished batches. Edda is also responsible for verifying new test methods on the basis of three batches before they are integrated into the routine test procedure.
She specialises in various methods such as the LAL Gel-Klot method, kinetic-chromogenic and kinetic-turbidimetric methods as well as water sample testing with Charles River Endosafe Nexus. Thanks to her precise working methods, Edda ensures that all test results are valid and reproducible and thus flow directly into the approval process for the medicinal products.
With her in-depth expertise and high quality awareness, Edda makes an important contribution to the safe and reliable development and production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
