Gökay is responsible for establishing and maintaining a project-specific EHS organisation that comprehensively covers all relevant topics in the areas of environmental health and safety. He coordinates the interfaces between project teams and operational EHS units and prepares detailed budget plans.

Already in the planning phase, he actively advises on the design of workplaces and the procurement of technical equipment, supports the preparation of permit applications and checks the received permits for compliance with all relevant EHS requirements.

During the execution phase, Gökay is responsible for adapting the construction site regulations, independently planning the construction site layout and conducting regular safety briefings and audits. He ensures compliance with all fire protection regulations and coordinates necessary inspections by certified experts. In addition, he conducts regular safety inspections and audits on the construction site, carefully documents them and prepares comprehensive reports for project management.

Gökay also carefully analyses EHS-relevant incidents, derives targeted preventive measures, and prepares regular reports and a final project report. His continuous commitment ensures the highest safety standards and significantly supports the smooth running of the project.
