Rebecca is responsible for compliance with all legal regulations and requirements in the area of environmental health and safety (EHS). As the central contact person for authorities, she works closely with various specialised departments.

She prepares risk assessments and develops effective risk reduction measures in cooperation with the relevant departments. It also advises on the preparation of operating instructions and provides recommendations on workplace design and personal safety equipment.

As part of her work, Rebecca supports internal approval procedures for new hazardous materials and carries out annual hazardous material and exposure inventories as well as workplace assessments in accordance with the Hazardous Materials Ordinance. She coordinates all activities related to hazardous substances, actively participates in the occupational safety committee and regularly conducts documented inspections in relevant areas.

Rebecca also supports and advises specialist departments as well as employees and managers on all safety-related issues related to the handling of hazardous materials. In addition, she advises the management on how to optimally implement issues of occupational health and safety protection.
