Silvan has been involved in a variety of laboratory projects, particularly focusing on quality testing of pharmaceutical samples. In a central project, he carried out comprehensive analyses using gel electrophoresis. Together with a team of 20, he tested up to 300 samples per week from internal production and from external clients for contamination, decomposition and compliance with defined standards. In addition, Silvan was responsible for the creation and careful evaluation of the gel electropherograms to ensure the high quality of the products.

Another project focused on the physical testing of packaging materials, especially pharmaceutical syringes. Together with a specialised team of eight experts, Silvan carried out integrity and functional tests, including leak testing using the blue bath method.

Silvan's working methods were characterised by strict adherence to GMP guidelines. His technical expertise in the execution and interpretation of complex test methods as well as his regulatory competence in documentation ensured reliable results and compliance with the highest quality standards at all times.
